200th Anniversary of Stepanavan – It was a double celebration for Stepanavan people

Stepanavan’s day was celbrated on November 6, 2010. In the past Stepanavan has been called Lore, the Jalaloghli, that is why this event was called “Lore-Jalaloghli – Stepanavan”. This day was a double holiday as it was not only the town’s celebration, but also the House of Culture was renovated and reopened after 22 years and newly built sport school was opened, which was attended by President Serzh Sargsyan, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan, Vardan Vardanyan, Minister of Urban Development, LoriGovernor Aram Kocharyan, famous artist Sos Sargsyan and many other honorable guests.  More…
