Vardavar (Water Festival) and Tsaghkazard (Flower Festival) celebraions in Stepanavan

Stepanavan town, in order to recover its old traditions of organizing festivals,  celebrated Flower Festival (Tsaghkazard) and Vardavar (Water festival) on July 31st., 2011. Dozens of organizations and companies, schools and kindergardens represented their flower decorations. Local children’s dance groups were dancing proudly on the square making everyone enjoy the beautiful holiday.

Hundreds of citizens, tourists and visitors were enjoying the beautiful flowers and music while the firemen drenched everyone with water as a simbol of the holiday and also to make everyone cool down from strong heat.
